The Person Behind All Boat Support

All Boat Support is run by Jordan Mowbray - a professional skipper, boating instructor and vessel manager based in Sydney. Jordan works with private boat owners one-on-one, providing boat lessons, skippering, vessel management and buyer's agent services across Sydney and Coastal NSW.

With over a decade of professional experience operating vessels from private powerboats to high-latitude expedition yachts in Antarctica and Cape Horn, Jordan brings serious real-world credentials to every service All Boat Support offers - and a teaching style that makes even the most nervous boat owner feel at ease.

Jordan's Story

Lake Macquarie, NSW 33.08°S 151.59°E

Where it started

Growing up on the shores of Lake Macquarie, NSW, Jordan developed a passion for boating early - beginning his sailing journey racing dinghies at just seven years old.

A decade of expeditions

Over the following decade, he operated sailing expeditions throughout Antarctica, Patagonia and Cape Horn - navigating some of the world's most remote and demanding marine environments, including a 42-day Southern Ocean crossing from Newcastle, Australia to Cape Horn, Chile.

Superyacht years

Alongside his expedition sailing, Jordan spent six years working as a first officer on large superyachts in the Caribbean - gaining extensive experience in vessel operations, passage planning, crew management and the exacting standards that superyacht work demands.

Matching people to boats

Jordan has also spent time in yacht brokerage and sales, working closely with buyers to match them to the right vessel for their needs - experience that now informs All Boat Support's Buyer's Agent service.

It runs in the family

Jordan's passion for the sea was also shaped by his father, Tony Mowbray, who completed a solo, nonstop and unassisted circumnavigation of the globe, one of a small handful of Australians to do so. Growing up with that influence, a life on the water was never really in doubt.

Today, Jordan runs All Boat Support from Clontarf Marina in Sydney, focused on helping private boat owners get more confidence, more enjoyment and more out of their time on the water.
